The school council have had a busy year working to raise money for a range of charities as well as looking after the environment of our local community.

To raise money for Christian Aid the school council decided it would be fun to have a "Sponsor a sunflower seed" competition. Each child was given a seed and asked to nurture it to see how tall it would grow. Families were asked to donate or sponsor the sunflower growing. The children were super proud to see the great height that some of them grew to while raising funds for Christian Aid 2026 which this year was focused on helping women in Kenya to grow food, earn an income and care for their children.
