Pupil wellbeing questionnaire response
Children at Monyash Primary School responded well to the wellbeing questionnaire and this shows that they feel safe within the school environment. They are enjoying the new playground markings and equipment, but have suggested that ball games be limited so that children all have an equal say in what to play at break time and lunchtime.
In response to this, the school council has acted and used the play leader training that we had earlier in the year to draw up a rota and worked in collaboration with the children in KS2 to allocate play leaders to organize different activities during break and lunchtime.
Activities vary from dance to reading / playing board games.
This is working well so far and the children are enjoying the activities being played and are even implementing their own game ideas.
